Olga Makeeva
Olga studied at the State Academy of Theatrical Arts, Moscow after which she joined the Soviet Army Theatre playing in classical and contemporary works touring the USSR. Olga moved to Melbourne in 1999 and Playing the Victim at Red Stitch marked her Australian debut in 2005. She then performed in The American Pilot and Fatboy before joining the ensemble 2010, appearing in Stop. Rewind, Good People and Wittenberg. Olga Assistant Directed on Red Stitch’s productions of Yellow Moon, In A Dark, Dark House and On Ego. Olga is also a talented dressmaker and has designed costumes for many productions. Other theatre credits include History of Motion Pictures, The Three Oaks (La Mama) and played the role of Maniefa in The Scoundrel That You Need (Gasworks Theatre).
