TICKETING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Your purchase is sold by Red Stitch Actors Theatre LTD. – ABN 28 109 829 049 (Red Stitch).
By making purchase you agree to the following terms and conditions:1.PROGRAM & ADMISSION
1.1. Red Stitch reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute artists, vary advertised programs, seating and audience capacity and alter ticket prices.
1.2. The right of admission is reserved by Red Stitch management. Admission may be refused with reasonable cause.
1.3. Ticket holders enter the venue at their own risk.
1.4. Late arrivals will not be admitted.
1.5. Customers who leave the theatre while a performance is in progress will not be readmitted except during scheduled breaks in the performance, such as interval.
1.6. Tickets will not be exchanged or refunded if customers are denied admission or readmission as described in clauses 1.4 or 1.5 above.
2.USER ACCOUNT
2.1. You may be required to register for an account with an email and password prior to purchasing tickets on the Red Stitch or an authorised agent’s website.
2.2. You are responsible for your use of the Red Stitch or authorised agent’s website and all transactions conducted using your account. Please contact Red Stitch immediately should you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
3.TICKET SALES
3.1. Tickets are only valid if purchased through Red Stitch or an authorised agent.
3.2. Bookings are subject to availability.
3.3. Customers who purchase tickets online or by phone will be sent an email to confirm the purchase. If you do not receive a confirmation email or are concerned that your purchase was unsuccessful, please contact the Box Office for confirmation of purchase. Red Stitch Actors’ Theatre takes no responsibility for incomplete purchases, where the customer has not received confirmation of the order.
3.4. Scannable electronic tickets will be sent to the email address associated with the ticket purchase.
3.5. Ticket prices within this site are in Australian dollars.
3.6. GST is not payable on tickets, in accordance with subparagraph 38-250(2)(b)(ii) of A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999.
3.7. A transaction fee may apply to your ticket purchase.
3.8. Where concessions are applicable, valid identification must be presented upon request.
3.9. You guarantee that you have the authority to make payment for your purchase and that you either own OR have consent from the owner/holder of the credit card used for the transaction.
3.10. All purchases are charged to credit cards at the time of purchase, not at the time of attendance.
3.11. Tickets must not be offered as a prize, sold on, or otherwise used for advertising and/or promotional purposes without the prior written permission of Red Stitch. Tickets may be cancelled or ticket-holders refused admission if Red Stitch deems usage is in breach of this condition.
3.12. If you received your ticket as a prize, gift, donation or at no cost, these Terms and Conditions apply.
4.REDEMPTION OF TICKETS
4.1. Upon arrival, please present a printed copy of your electronic ticket or display your ticket on a portable electronic device (such as your mobile phone). Your ticket will be scanned prior to your admission into the auditorium.
4.2. If you are unable to print your ticket or display it on a suitable device, please advise Red Stitch staff as soon as possible, so we can try to retrieve your booking details with minimum disruption.
4.3. Red Stitch reserves the right to re-sell any ticket that has not been presented to staff by the advertised performance start time. Original purchasers will not be refunded for tickets which are not presented by the advertised commencement time, whether or not the tickets are re-sold.
5.REFUNDS &EXCHANGES
5.1. In general, tickets are non-refundable. Tickets will be refunded if a ticket-holder is in isolation due to COVID-19, is a close contact of a person who has tested positive to COVID-19, or is unwell and has emailed boxoffice@redstitch.net at least 24 hours prior to the advertised performance start time that they are unable to attend due to illness. Other exceptions may occur in extenuating circumstances, at the discretion of Red Stitch management.
5.2. Subject to availability, exchanges from one performance date/time to another are permitted when requested during Box Office opening hours (Monday - Friday, 10am-4pm (AET)) and at least 8 hours ahead of the advertised performance start time.
5.3. Exchanges from one production to another are not permitted.
5.4. Exchanges may not be processed at the Box Office during peak times (e.g.- the hour prior to an advertised performance start time).
5.5. If you are unable to use or exchange your ticket, someone else may use your ticket provided the purchaser notifies the Box Office of this change ahead of time and within opening hours (Monday - Friday, 10am-4pm (AET)).
5.6. If the amount paid for the ticket is incorrect for any reason, Red Stitch may cancel the order and refund the amount paid. Fees and charges may apply. Please allow 5-10 business days for refunds.
6.PERFORMANCE INFORMATION, CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES
6.1. If a performance is cancelled, Red Stitch will provide a refund for any tickets purchased through an authorised seller.
6.2. Details of an event may be changed without notice. Artists or performers may be added, removed or substituted. Where possible, Red Stitch will advise customers of any changes to an event prior to the performance.
6.3. Seating in the venue may be altered with or without prior notice. If a ticketed seat is no longer available, customers will be relocated to another seat.
6.4. Red Stitch will endeavour to disclose content warnings prior to the commencement of a performance. If you have any particular concerns, you are advised to contact the Box Office ahead of time.
6.5. Red Stitch will attempt to advise customers of any potentially restricted views prior to purchase where possible.
7.CAMERAS & RECORDING DEVICES
7.1. Cameras and other recording devices are not permitted, unless otherwise stated. Red Stitch reserves the right to request the deletion of any unauthorised photos or videos.
8.GIFT VOUCHERS
8.1. Gift vouchers are non-refundable.
8.2. Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash.
8.3. Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase.
8.4. When redeeming your Gift Voucher, if the value of your order is greater than the value of your Gift Voucher, you may pay the difference to complete your order.
9. AGE RECOMMENDATIONS & BABES IN ARMS
9.1. All plays come with an age recommendation which can be found on the relevant show information pages on our website. While we suggest a suitable age recommendation, it's still ultimately up to you as the parent to make the final decision around suitability.
9.2. We are not able to cater for babies and children under the age of 6 at the theatre.
9.3. Children over the age of 6 years are required to have a valid ticket and an individual seat.
9.4. Most of Red Stitch play's content is aimed at a more mature audience of 12+ years.
10.COVID SAFETY
10.1. Customers must comply with any COVID Safety measures mandated under local, state or federal government regulations or implemented as policy by Red Stitch. These measures may be amended from time to time and may include:
10.1.1. Use of hand sanitiser upon arrival;
10.1.2. Social distancing measures, including spaced queuing;
10.1.3. Staggered arrival times;
10.1.4. Fixed seating;
10.1.5. Mandatory use of face masks;
10.1.6. Contactless payment methods;
10.1.7. Pre-ordering requirements.
10.2. Customers who do not comply with Red Stitch’s COVID Safety measures will be required to leave the premises and will not be issued a refund.
10.3. You undertake not to attend events at Red Stitch if you are feeling unwell, particularly if you have symptoms such as:
fever
chills or sweats
cough
sore throat
shortness of breath
runny or stuffy nose
loss or change in sense of smell or taste
headache
muscle soreness
stuffy nose
vausea, vomiting or diarrhoea.
10.4 If a ticket-holder is unwell but has not tested positive to COVID, tickets will be refunded with a minimum 24-hour notification prior to the advertised performance start time.
10.5. If a ticket holder has tested positive to COVID please contact the Box Office either in writing or by phone in advance of the scheduled performance and you will be offered a refund. Fees and charges may apply.
11.GENERAL
11.1. These Terms and Conditions are subject to change. Any changes to these Terms and Conditions become effective on the day after their publication to the Red Stitch website and apply to any purchases made after that date.
