Our seating is in line with Victoria’s current health & safety guidelines for seated indoor entertainment venues at the time of performance. Being an already small venue and with our capacity for each performance slightly limited in line with the current guidelines, we encourage you to book early to avoid any disappointment. In line with the current guidelines we are able to seat up to 100% capacity (81 seats) but have removed the front row for accessible seating only, to create a suggested distance between performers and audience members.

The Companion Card has been developed by the Victorian Network on Recreation and Disability (VICNORD). It admits carers to shows as complimentary guests. Holders of this card are welcome at all Red Stitch performances.

All plays come with an age recommendation which can be found on the relevant show information pages on our website. While we suggest a suitable age recommendation, it's still ultimately up to you as the parent to make the final decision around suitability.

As our venue is very intimate we are not able to cater for babies and children under the age of 6. Children over the age of 6 years are required to have a valid ticket and an individual seat. Most of Red Stitch play's content is aimed at a more mature audience of 12+ years. Please contact our Box Office if you have any concerns about bringing your child to a play at Red Stitch.
