If I am unwell, can I exchange my tickets?
If you have experienced any coronavirus symptoms in the past 14 days or are awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test, please stay home and contact us in advance of your scheduled performance so we can help you change your ticket to a future date or provide you with a refund.

Can I return my tickets?
Tickets are generally non-refundable. Exceptions may occur in extenuating circumstances, at the discretion of Red Stitch management. If you are unable to attend a performance due to illness a refund will be granted. Exchanges, where permissible, are subject to conditions and fees. Please see our guide to TICKETING TERMS & CONDITIONS for more information. 

Do I need to book my ticket online?
Because seats are limited, it is recommended that you book online. We’re not always at the theatre and able to answer or return calls as quickly as we’d like.

PERFORMANCES & YOUR VISIT

Check-in or vaccination requirements?
These are no longer required. All you will need to attend the theatre is a copy of your electronic ticket.

Do I have to wear a face mask at the theatre?
Face masks are no longer required to be worn, but for the health and safety of you and those around you, we encourage you to wear a mask indoors

Do I need to collect my tickets?
Red Stitch provides you with the ease of eTickets sent straight to your email. eTickets will be emailed 3 days prior to the date of your play. Tickets purchased within 3 days of your play will be sent immediately. eTickets are sent via email and can be displayed and scanned directly from a smart phone, so there’s no need to print your tickets. To assist us in making your visit to the theatre a smooth one, please make sure that you have your smart phones screen brightness at a maximum for scanning on entry.

Will the seating be socially distanced?
Our seating capacity will be in line with Victoria's current health & safety regulations for seated indoor entertainment venues, at the time of the performance.

Will we be able to use the foyer areas pre-show?
We would be delighted to welcome you into the warmth of our foyer. In line with Victoria's current health & safety regulations, we do have density restrictions and limited capacities in the foyer. We are using the terrace outside the venue to cater for the overflow of audience pre/post show.

Will the bar be open?
Our bar will be open for pre & post show drinks & snacks with contactless payment. All drinks will be freshly poured into our single use fully biodegradable BioPak plastic glasses. We ask that you please dispose of them in our Biodegradable Only bin in the foyer.

Will there be access to the bathrooms?
The bathrooms will be available for use by patrons attending a performance. We will be able to allow for access to the toilets in our foyer in a socially distanced manner. We ask that you maintain a safe distance when queuing in line.

Will you be selling programs?
Red Stitch programs for all shows excluding INK World Premieres are available at the Box Office before each performance. These are sold by gold coin donation. Scripts for new INK works are sold for $22.00 and include the show’s program. For these shows, a complementary Cast & Crew slip will also be available.

AT THE THEATRE

What happens when I arrive?
You will be greeted by our Front of House staff, who will assist you with your visit should you need it. We encourage you to please sanitise your hands on arrival at our entry sanitiser station.

What are your cleaning procedures?
All areas of our venue are being professionally cleaned before and after your visit to the theatre. Our Front of House staff will continue to disinfect and clean high touch surfaces throughout the duration of daily operations.

Seats inside the auditorium are disinfected after every performance.

In addition to this high frequency cleaning, we ask that you please sanitise your hands on arrival and during your visit when necessary. Hand sanitiser is available throughout the foyer.
