Gluttony: The Play is set to return for a second season at The Windsor on Spring Street during October.

Gluttony: The Play is a unique approach to performance and dining, and received rave reviews during its two-week run in March, including this review from Tim Byrne, Theatre Critic of The Guardian. Gluttony is about friendship, love, longing, betrayal...and outstanding food and wine. Set in the fictional restaurant, ‘Gourmandise', a group of old friends get together for the first time in a long time. What unfolds is a tale of lost opportunities, broken promises and the complexities of trust as the group attempt to figure out whether any of them are truly happy – and indeed, whether they are truly friends.

The three-course menu with matched local wines is designed by award-winning chef Rob Kabboord (former chef-de-cuisine at Sydney’s Quay). Audience members sit next to, opposite and near the performance while being served Kabboord’s menu. There is no audience participation as members of the audience are simply voyeurs watching the story unfold from the best seats in the house.

This immersive play is a love letter to the craft of, and commitment to, great hospitality. The Windsor, an iconic and historic hotel that has long been a benchmark of high-end, quality hospitality is just as excited as the Gluttony cast and crew about the upcoming season.
