Tayla Gane

Production Trainee

Tayla first discovered her passion for live performance while growing up in Gippsland, acting in musicals and plays with local theatre companies. After graduating high school, she began participating in Actors Workshops for Film & TV at Brave Studios in Footscray, before returning to her roots in theatre. Her recent credits include: Jo March in Little Women the Musical (Singing Strong, 2017), winning her the Gippsland Associated Theatre Award for Most Outstanding Lead Actor. Since relocating to Melbourne to pursue a career in the industry, Tayla has been given the opportunity to join Red Stitch as a Production Trainee, with Wakey, Wakey marking her debut as Assistant Stage Manager. Tayla is excited to use her time with Red Stitch to continue developing her knowledge and skills as part of the Production Team.
