Erin Dewar

Past Ensemble

Erin worked extensively in Melbourne’s theatre scene as an ensemble member at Red Stitch Actors Theatre from 2006-2011 where she appeared in Harvest, Crestfall, Rabbit Hole, The Pain and the Itch, Marie Antoinette: The Colour of Flesh, Red Sky Morning, Yellow Moon: The Ballad of Leila and Lee, The Rites of Evil, Ruben Guthrie and Orphans along with a number of Red Stitch Writers script development works. In 2009, Erin received a Green Room Award nomination for her body of work in theatre before appearing in the return season of Red Sky Morning at the Victorian Arts Centre as part of the FULL-TILT program. Erin was Company Administrator and Head of the Schools and Youth Department at Red Stitch while also being integral to establishing the touring arm of the company. Consequently, Red Sky Morning went on to tour nationally in 2010 and was nominated at the 2011 Helpmann Awards for Best Regional Tour.

Along with regular voice over and corporate film work, Erin has appeared on TV’s Blue HeelersHolly’s Heroes, Wicked Science, The Floating Brothel (ABC/BBC), Underbelly, Neighbours, City Homicide, and the upcoming Killing Time. She featured in the award winning short films Rain For Morgan and Remake and appeared in the feature film John Doe.
