Damon Baudin

2023 Hansen Graduate Actor

Damon is a Serbian-Australian actor and writer based in Naarm/Melbourne. Prior to completing his studies at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), Damon worked on independent and professional theatre projects with a range of companies across Australia’s east coast, including The Street Theatre, The Q, Shakespeare by the Lakes, HotHouse Theatre and Playwriting Australia. He has also worked as a tutor for Canberra Youth Theatre. Damon’s VCA credits include Joe in 37 (dir. Isaac Drandic), Liam in An Unseasonable Fall of Snow (dir. Keegan Bragg), Mr. Magic in Tales from the Vienna Woods (dir. Mark Wilson), DJ in Slaughterhouse (dir. Georgina Naidu), and Karna/others in The Palace of Illusions (dir. Sonya Suares). Damon is a diligent, generous and playful performer, who is eager to work across theatre, film and television. He is the 2021 recipient of the Irene Mitchell Award for Excellence in Acting.
