Christina O’Neill

Christina graduated from WAAPA in 2005 and joined the Red Stitch Ensemble in 2013.
She most recently appeared in the award-winning production, Calamity Jane at Arts Centre Melbourne and Eddie Perfect’s Vivid White at Melbourne Theatre Company.

Her Red Stitch credits include Control, Right Now, The River, Middletown, Belleville, Straight and The Motherf*cker with the Hat.

Her other theatre credits include: Christmas Eve in Avenue Q (Arts Asia Pacific) for which she won a Helpmann Award; Julie LaVerne in Showboat (The Production Company); the Baker’s Wife in Into The Woods and Dot in Sunday in the Park with George (Victorian Opera); Gaybies (Midsumma Festival); Maddy in Prodigal (45 Downstairs); April White in Savage in Limbo (Workhorse Theatre Company); Lady of the Lake (standby) in Monty Python’s Spamalot (Louise Withers & Associates); Tell Me on A Sunday (Kookaburra) and as a Diva in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert the Musical.

She also features on the original Australian cast recording of Priscilla Queen of the Desert and on the albums, Showqueen Sessions and Together Apart (which are all available for purchase on iTunes).

Christina’s screen credits include Winners & Losers (Seven Network), The Divorce (ABC), City Homicide (Seven Network), feature film, Relic.

She has also trained at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting (New York) and at 16th Street Actors Studio (Melbourne).
