Glory Dazed is dangerous, scintillating stuff. It’s packed with the characteristic grit and intimacy we love at Red Stitch. 70 adrenaline-filled minutes of a back street ‘lock-in”, up close and personal with four powerhouse actors. Glory Dazed, directed by Greg Carroll, is the Red Stitch debut for Johnathan Peck, our 2014 Graduate Actor and he is in excellent company alongside Andre, Emily and Laura.

Then in August, head into Shebeen in the city for our Australian premiere of The Flick by Annie Baker, directed by Nadia Tass. Annie’s remarkable script has just won the 2014 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Come and find out why. See you at the theatre or in Manchester Lane!

Ray isn’t adjusting to civilian life after serving in Afghanistan and Iraq. Ray is on the run.

Written by UK playwright Cat Jones and directed by Greg Carroll (Howie the Rookie, Pugilist Specialist), Glory Dazed is an intense late night lock-in involving Ray, Carla, the woman he loves, Simon, the friend he can’t reconcile with, and young barmaid Leanne. Inspired by workshops conducted with ex-servicemen in prison, Glory Dazed is an intimate and unflinching revelation of a man teetering on the brink.

Glory Dazed features the Red Stitch Graduate Ensemble Member for 2014, Johnathan Peck, along with special guests Emily Goddard, Andre de Vanny and Laura Jane Turner. Set Design is by Green Room award-winning designer Peter Mumford and Lighting Design is by Rebecca Etchell.
