Pulitzer Prize winning play THE FLICK by Annie Baker | Green Room Awards & more!

Categories: Company News

Hello!

The Flick was a gem of 2014, enjoying sell out houses during the site specific season in the city, and we can’t wait to give it the full life it deserves in our home theatre! This Pulitzer Prize winning play by Annie Baker is selling rapidly, with the first week already sold out! I encourage you to get in quick if you want to experience this acclaimed production on our Red Stitch stage.

Speaking of brilliant work, we had a blast Monday night at the Green Room Awards, where Red Stitch had a number of nominations in the Theatre Companies category:

Grounded: Best Production, Direction (Kirsten von Bibra), Female Actor (Kate Cole), Set Design (Matthew Adey), Composition (Elizabeth Drake)
Eurydice: Best Lighting Design (Clare Springett & Michael Robinson)
Glory Dazed: Best Male Actor (Andre de Vanny), Female Actor (Emily Goddard)

Congratulations to Kirsten and Andre, both of whom won their categories! It is always an honour to be so well represented at these prestigious industry awards alongside the big guns of theatre, despite our limited resources.

See you at the theatre,

Ella Caldwell

Sam has an unrequited obsession with Rose. And Rose does what Rose wants to do.
