A special announcement from Red Stitch Actors Theatre

Join us at Red Stitch for… CLASSICS IN CONVERSATION: FOLLOWING ORPHEUS & EURYDICE Sunday 21st September 4pm   Eurydice is an ancient myth. Sarah Ruhl’s Eurydice is a contemporary play. The tale has seen many incarnations over the centuries through novels, songs, operas and even video games. At our afternoon of Classics in Conversation at Red Stitch we’ll discuss the progression of Eurydice from myth to modernity and how the central themes of love, loss and memory have been developed and interpreted by artists and art forms over the centuries. Joining us in conversation, we welcome Heather Sebo, Classics lecturer Latrobe University, Luke Kerridge, Director of Eurydice and Dion Mills, ensemble cast member of the show….
