After a highly successful season at Red Stitch in 2014, Grounded returns for a strictly limited run at Melbourne’s newest live performance venue, The Alex Theatre in St Kilda.
She’s an F16 fighter pilot; a rock star of the great big blue above. She loves the sky. And suddenly she is pregnant. Now: repurposed as a drone pilot, hunting the enemy by day, living in Las Vegas by night.
Maybe it’s safer this way; maybe it’s better? She can come home to her husband and child.
From the heights of lyricism to the shallows of workday existence, Grounded is a visceral, gripping story that flies through one woman’s internal war and her external battle.
